Under the current (2007) B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, sufficient evidence of qualifying as an EME is an Auditor’s certificate or similar certificate issued by an Accounting Officer or a SANAS Accredited Verification Agency. A template Audit/Accounting Officer’s certificate is available by clicking here Under the new (2013) Revised B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, an EME is only required to obtain a sworn affidavit on an annual basis confirming this status. A template EME Affidavit is available by clicking here Under the new (2013) Revised B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, a QSE that is also at least 51% Black Owned is only required to obtain a sworn affidavit on an annual basis confirming this status.
